This film about the Material Matters project was made in early 2021 when Dewi Tannatt Lloyd visited my studio in Cardiff. In it I talk about various technical, aesthetic and philosophical aspects of the project: the residency in Aberystwyth Arts Centre; the relationship between different environments and their impact on my work; changes in my work throughout the project; the importance of materials and drawing.
